I am Omid Jafari and was born in 1989.

I am currently a Ph.D. student at New Mexico State University, researching in the area of Big Data Management under supervision of Dr. Parth Nagarkar. More information about me can be found on the Resume page.

    2012-2016

    Founded and developed the HyperIRC project, which provided free customized bouncers and bots to OnlineGamesNet IRC network users, and did Linux server administration and network programming.

My Contribution To Science

A Microsoft Excel add-in to automate the process of exporting charts to PDFs and images with zero margins.
This video shows how to generate random numbers with an arbitrary distribution in Matlab's SimuLink. (Video is in Persian)
